General Dentistry

One of the most prevalent diseases is tooth decay. Decay can be detected at your regular visits and should be treated with a filling before it becomes a larger and more expensive issue. If you’re told you have a cavity during a checkup our office will restore your tooth with the most appropriate filling material.

Endodontics

Endodontic treatment, or a root canal, is a procedure used to relieve a dental infection. The infection can start from an untreated cavity, trauma or fracture within a tooth. During the procedure the infection is removed from the tooth and the tooth is restored. This allows you to once again be able to function with that tooth.

Oral Surgery

Sometimes a tooth is broken or cavitated beyond repair. In this event, we can help. In order to remove the tooth, we will add the appropriate amount of anesthetic to make you feel comfortable. If you are considering replacing the tooth, we will also graft the site for a future implant.

Dentures

If you are looking to replace missing teeth, we offer both partial dentures and complete dentures. Dentures are devices used to restore the function and the esthetic of missing teeth. Dentures will allow you to eat and smile again.

Periodontal Treatment

The key to having a healthy mouth is having a healthy foundation for our teeth. Regular 6 month preventive care visits are used to evaluate the status and health of your gums. If bacteria accumulates in your gums around your teeth, this can cause gum disease. If you are diagnosed with gum disease, our experienced hygienist will do a service called scaling and root planing (a deep cleaning) to help gain back healthy gums.

Crowns/Bridges/Implant Crowns

Crowns are used to fix a tooth that has fractures. Fractures are caused by large fillings and decay, trauma, or clenching and grinding. A crown will cover the tooth in its entirety and protect it against the forces of chewing.

Bridges are an option to replace a missing tooth. By using teeth on both sides of a missing tooth, a bridge can be cemented to esthetically and functionally replace that tooth.

Implants are another option to replace a missing tooth. An implant is placed in the bone and a crown is placed on the implant to act as a tooth. At our clinic, we will restore implants that are placed by a specialist.
